Corpus of digitalized birds skeletons
Published Friday 19 October 2007, updated Monday 5 November 2007,
by Michel Coutureau, Carine Carpentier
This set of drawings dedicated to the birds was conducted by M. Coutureau, in collaboration with J-H. Yvinec (INRAP) and V. Laroulandie (University of Bordeaux 1-PACEA-IPGQ/UMR 5199 CNRS). It is put at the disposal of the community. In 2004 we added: cock, hen (Gallus gallus) and crow (Corvus frugilegus). In october 2005, we added pigeon (Colomba livia). Two sights different from the same grouse (Lagopus sp.), were put on line in May 2007. The snowy owl (Bubo scandiacus, formerly Nyctea scandiaca) was added in October 2007. COMMENT: Please don’t forget to include reference when you will use the plates. If you need some animals wich are not present here, please, contact M. Coutureau and send him a good photo or image of the skeleton and he will try to digitalize it, bone by bone. For those which cannot open these boards with the Adobe Illustrator format, here the same drawings with format PNG (right button on the link and click on "recording the target under"): Colomba livia, Corvus frugilegus, Gallus gallus (male), Gallus gallus (female), Lagopus sp. (sight 1), Lagopus sp. (sight 2), Bubo scandiacus.
