The vertebrate skeleton reference collection consists of mainly British and Continental European mammals, birds and fish. It currently includes over 3000 specimens, most of which are complete skeletons, from approximately 80 species of mammals, 200 bird species, 50 fish species, and some reptiles and amphibia.
